The former Lenel colleagues and veterans in security sphere, Bill Moran and Kevin Wine have become the part of PlaSec team. They’ve taken places of Vice President of sales and Vice President of Marketing.

PlaSec creates physical security solutions using IT-centric technology. This technology makes convergence of physical and logical access functions within an organization easier. Moran and Wine will adjust the sales channels and regulate marketing schemes for PlaSec line.
Wine told about PlaSec’s Fusion product: “what an IT team would design … looking at head end functionality as a means to extend logical security to PACS instead of the other way around.”
It is browser-based using open source Linux with an LDAP database. IT-modeled directory structure relieves data sharing, events, privileges across IT systems. Now Fusion supports open field hardware from Mercury Security and HID.
