PALO ALTO, Calif., Sept. 28 – Apple Computer Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) on Thursday warned its fourth quarter earnings would fall as much as 33 percent short of forecasts because of a sales slowdown that hit all geographical regions as well as its key education market and its showcase product, the new Power Mac G4 Cube.
