On December 1 Phantom Technologies declared about its novelty. They improve the iBoss Enterprise Web Filter with Novell eDirectory multiplatform environments. It has become a unique Filter filtering by MAC address and supporting transparent authentication with Active Directory LDAP. It shouldn’t be installed on the eDictionary server as other models. But it can receive the real-time events from the server.

Company vice-president Mike Crawford said: “What really sets the iBoss’s integration of eDirectory apart from competing filters is the fact that it will not simply cache the directory on a schedule to track credentials, but it will accurately track user credentials by verifying when each user signs on and off their workstation. This level of integration avoids misidentification of users due to time gaps between synchronization intervals, which is common with competing filters”.

Also the iBoss has DMCR function with a great amount of tools. It allows to control and record user desktops. The following abilities have also become innovations:

graphical interface which being easily navigated;

strong Internet traffic controls;

traffic analyzer working all over the netwok;

real-time database.

iBoss is really convenient for small and medium-sized businesses. It proposes new Web-filtering solutions and has a good design. Connect with company representatives to know the price and use it gladly!
